When HHMI's high-volume news section reached more than 300 pages, HFD was asked to develop an efficient system for updating and maintaining the well known Web site. HFD quickly set out to build a comprehensive content management system capable of increasing publishing throughput, while reducing the errors associated with manual production.
HFD designed a new templating system that organized information to fit the new database architecture. Combining the visual designs with well orchestrated logical components, the system is one of the most robust tools available.
